• Erik Andersen has many years of experience in IT standardisation participation and is able to represent organisations that want to influence and/or follow IT standardisation activities within a specific area.
• Support may given for Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) and related technologies.
• General security analysis may be performed.
• Privacy issues are getting more and more important. Erik Andersen has experience in this area and has developed the privacy features in X.500 (for more see here).
• Erik Andersen has been involved in many different communications protocols. Was the IBM Systems Network Architecture (SNA) expert. Has been deeply involved in the development of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) protocols. Has been working on issues around TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc.
• Has many years experience in the application of Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1) as a powerful notation tool.
• Has developed several directory protocols based on the XML notation by developing XML Schema Definition (XSD) and equivalent ASN.1 specifications.
• network management, such as OSI management and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
